Collapse of archives building, Cologne, Germany
4 March. The six-storey building of the Historic Archive of Cologne has collapsed, causing severe damage to the rich archival holdings.
Following this tragic incident, the Director-General and Staff of ICCROM extend their deepest sympathy to all colleagues at the Historic Archive of Cologne and to the government of Germany.
