Earthquake in Italy
6 April. In the aftermath of the strong earthquake in the city of L'Aquila, Italy in the early hours of this morning, the Director-General and Staff of ICCROM extend their deepest condolences to the government and people of Italy which have been so disastrously affected by the loss of lives and the destruction of property. ICCROM is ready to offer assistance to our Italian colleagues and those institutions responsible for protecting the cultural heritage within the affected areas.
