15 June. The international course on stone conservation was relaunched on 16 April, after a long period of review and evaluation, and is currently taking place in Venice, Italy. |

New SOIMA website: audiovisual preservation
2 June. The SOIMA (Sound and Image Collections Conservation) programme has introduced a website aimed at highlighting the issues and challenges that some cultural and research institutions face in preserving their sound and image materials. |

1 June. Dr Shivashish Bose, a former ARC94 course participant from India, is now at ICCROM until the end of June as a visiting fellow. |
