Minaret collapses in Morocco
24 February. On 19 February a centuries-old minaret collapsed due to heavy rains in the World Heritage city of Meknes, Morocco. In the wake of the tragic loss of lives and extensive damage to property, the Director-General and Staff of ICCROM extend their deepest condolences to the government and people of Morocco.

New Member State
8 February. ICCROM is pleased to announce the adhesion of Afghanistan as a new Member State as of 7 February 2010. The adhesion of Afghanistan brings the number of ICCROM Member States to 129. |

Helping Heritage in Haiti
