9 June. The Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections
(SPNHC) has chosen R. Robert Waller as the 2010 recipient
of the Carolyn Rose Award for his outstanding worldwide achievements in

Tropical storm Agatha
1 June. In the aftermath of the strong tropical storm that has struck El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, the Director-General and Staff of ICCROM extend their deepest condolences to the government and people of these countries who have been disastrously affected by the loss of lives and the destruction of property. ICCROM is ready to offer assistance to our Central American colleagues and those institutions responsible for protecting the cultural heritage within the affected areas.
