21 June. From 14 – 16 June, an interdisciplinary group of professionals met at ICCROM to design a new pilot course entitled 'First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Conflict', to be held in Rome from 17 September – 29 October 2010.

9 June. The Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections (SPNHC) has chosen R. Robert Waller as the 2010 recipient of the Carolyn Rose Award for his outstanding worldwide achievements in the field of collection management and conservation.
