26 January. Following the international vacancy announcement for the position of Conservation Research Specialist, ICCROM has appointed a new staff member, Dr Alison Heritage from the United Kingdom. |

Floods in Australia and Brazil
13 January. In view of the floods that have devastated Queensland, Australia and south-eastern Brazil, the Director-General and Staff of ICCROM would like to express their deepest condolences to the governments and people of these countries who have been affected by the loss of lives and destruction of property.

Obituary
6 January. It is with great grief that we learn of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, architect Simonetta Peroni-Peterson, who died after a severe illness on 30 December at the age of 61. |
