On 25 March Dr Davide Melica, founder of Consulenza e Diagnostica per il Restauro e la Conservazione, visited the ICCROM Laboratory and gave a short lecture to a group of students from the University of Rome 'La Sapienza'.

On 21 March, Prof Laurier Turgeon, Project Director, Canada Research Chair in Heritage, Université Laval, Quebec, visited ICCROM.
He gave a lecture to staff on his work at the Institute for Cultural Heritage at Laval University and the development of an integrated approach to the preservation of tangible and intangible heritage. Among the projects he discussed was the Encyclopedia of French Cultural Heritage in North America, an online initiative to document the history of North American French speakers.
