On 17 June Director-General received a visit from Mr Robert Mearkle, Policy Advisor, Office of UNESCO Affairs, U.S. State Department. He was accompanied by Mr Keith Lee Heffern, Alternate Permanent Representative of the US Mission to UN Agencies.
Also in attendance: Catherine Antomarchi, Unit Director of the Collections Unit; Paul Arenson, Manager of Knowledge and Communications; Joseph King, Unit Director of the Sites Unit; and Bruno Pisani, Manager of Finance and Administration. Separate Unit/Service briefings also took place after the general meeting.

On 6 June a delegation from the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea visited ICCROM. The names of the visitors were:
