On 29 July, a delegation from the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage visited ICCROM and met with Mounir Bouchenaki, Director-General. The delegation was headed by the Vice President of the Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation, Mr. Ruiyi Xu, and was composed of:
- Zheng Ya, Deputy Director, Administrative Division of Museums
- Li Kong San, Deputy Director, Administrative Division of Cultural Relics
- Yu Cun Hai, Administrative Division of Cultural Relics
- Fan Jie, Associate Government Investigator
In attendance: Gamini Wijesuriya, Project Manager, Sites Unit.

On 25 July, the Director-General, Mounir Bouchenaki received the visit of Mr Andrea Billi, Technical Secretariat of the Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Hon. Gianni Letta.
Also in attendance: Bruno Pisani, Manager of Finance and Administration and Maria Teresa Jaquinta, Liaison Officer (Co-operation with Italy).
