Kirova, Politecnico di Torino and Dean of the Universitá Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO in Rome, and Dr Anna Maria Reggiani, former Director-General of Antiquities at the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (MiBAC).

On 26 January, the Secretary-General of WATCH, Dr Claudio Cimino visited the Director-General. The meeting offered an opportunity to review actions promoted by WATCH and ICCROM in the shared effort to preserve cultural heritage worldwide. A general commitment to continue the proactive cooperation between the two organisations was also topic of discussion during the meeting.

On 26 January, the Director-General received a visit from Dr Ray Bondin, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Malta to UNESCO and Delegate of Malta to ICCROM. Dr Bondin is also a former Council Member. During the meeting, they discussed possible collaboration between Malta and ICCROM, and the continuation of initiatives already jointly taken with the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
