On 13 June the Director-General received the visit of the Ambassador of Iran, H.E. S.M.A. Hosseini, who was accompanied by Mr Mir Khalaf, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Iran.

On 13 June the Director-General received a visit from Mr Paolo Di Nola, Operating Manager of the Business Unit Competitività e Territori at Invitalia (National Agency for investment promotion and enterprise development). He was accompanied by
Ms Manuela Appolloni and Mr Giuseppe Smargiassi, both Project Managers of Invitalia in charge of advising on the development of feasibility studies.
During the meeting Mr Di Nola presented Director-General with a framework agreement for collaboration between Invitalia and ICCROM, focusing on the “Valorisation of Cultural and Natural Heritage for the Development of Tourism”. Also in attendance was Maria Teresa Jaquinta, Liaison Officer (Co-operation with Italy).

On 12 June the Director-General received a visit from H.E. Abdullah Aubal Mandhouq Saleh, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Yemen. He was accompanied by H.E. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Akwa, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Italy, Dr Mohamed Al-Sayhani, President of GOAM (Yemini General Organization of Antiquities and Museums), Mr Ahmad Shamsan, Official of the GOAM and Ms Ilaria Gemma, external relations, Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Italy. Also present: Catherine Antomarchi, Unit Director of the Collections Unit.
