Protection of Syria’s Cultural Heritage in Times of Armed Conflict: ICOMOS - ICCROM e-learning course for Syrian cultural heritage professionals
10 January. ICCROM recently collaborated with ICOMOS and the Directorate-General of Antiquities and Museums of Syria (DGAM), in coordination with UNESCO, to hold an e-learning course for Syrian cultural heritage professionals from 7 to 8 January 2013 at the Damascus National Museum. The course was led by the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Risk Preparedness (ICORP). |

12 December. We are pleased to present the digital version our most recent publication in the ICCROM Conservation Studies series: ICCROM and the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. A history of the Organization’s first 50 years, by Jukka Jokilehto. Years in the making, this organizational history documents how ICCROM evolved together with the development of conservation and restoration as a profession. |
