Course in Syria Protection of Syria’s Cultural Heritage in Times of Armed Conflict: ICOMOS - ICCROM e-learning course for Syrian cultural heritage professionals

10 January. ICCROM recently collaborated with ICOMOS and the Directorate-General of Antiquities and Museums of Syria (DGAM), in coordination with UNESCO, to hold an e-learning course for Syrian cultural heritage professionals from 7 to 8 January 2013 at the Damascus National Museum. The course was led by the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on Risk Preparedness (ICORP).

Reducing Risks Meeting New publication available for free download

12 December. We are pleased to present the digital version our most recent publication in the ICCROM Conservation Studies series: ICCROM and the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. A history of the Organization’s first 50 years, by Jukka Jokilehto. Years in the making, this organizational history documents how ICCROM evolved together with the development of conservation and restoration as a profession.
