On 24 May, the Director-General received the visit of Mr. Mitko Panov, Dean, EuroBalkan University Ms. Dragna Broz, Teacher, researcher and international project developer, the EuroBalkan University, and Mr. Claudio Cimino, Secretary General, World Association for the protection of Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage in times of armed conflicts- WATCH. Also in attendance: Catherine Antomarchi, Unit Director Collections Unit.

On 17 May a group of students from the Dipartimento Patrimonio Architettonico e Urbanistico di Reggio Calabria, Italy, visited ICCROM. They were accompanied by Professor Maurizio Di Stefano. Presentations were given by Maria Teresa Jaquinta, Liasion Officer (Co-operation with Italy) and Gamini Wijesuriya, Project Manager for the Sites Unit. The students also toured the Library.

On 7 May, the Director-General received the visit of the new Ambassador of South Africa, H.E. Mrs Nomatemba Gugulethu Pudnixia O. Tambo, who was accompanied by Mr Marc Jurgens, Multilateral Affairs. In attendance: Joseph King, Sites Unit Director.
