Previous areas of research have include the notion of value and value assessment, collecting data on risk events from other fields than conservation, and the study of conservation terminology across time, disciplines and contexts.

In 2008-9, research will continue in the area of value assessment, risk estimations, and conservation terminology and principles. We will also seek partners to investigate recent developments in conservation education and levels of competence.
