Preserving audiovisual heritage awareness campaign
ICCROM will seek the cooperation of the Intangible Heritage Section of the Cultural Heritage Division of UNESCO as well as the Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO, CCAAA (Coordinating Council for Audiovisual Archives Associations) and TAPE (Training for Audiovisual Preservation in Europe) to explore ways to increase general awareness on the urgent need to preserve audiovisual heritage. These could take the form of a media campaign involving broadcasters and/or light but informative publications for heritage professionals and other non specialists (both in print and electronic formats).
