In cooperation with the Associazione Herculaneum, ICCROM will implement a joint seminar at the Herculaneum archaeological site that will bring together members of the various networks of ICCROM’s regional and thematic programmes. The purpose will be to explore different cultural approaches and share best practices on a theme of current interest to the conservation community. An important element of the meeting will be the promotion of inter-regional contacts and networks, as an extension of the already existing networks created by the various programmes. The meeting will also allow for an exchange with professionals from Herculaneum and its surrounding area.
