Future publications in Arabic may include proceedings of implemented ATHAR activities, books on conservation principles, and guidelines with reference to the Arab region.

The database of conservation projects in the Arab Region will build on that begun by the programme. It covers heritage conservation projects implemented by the major international organizations and private foundations. The project aims to allow participating organizations to share information on planned, current, and recently completed projects and programmes, and to provide a directory of individual and institutional resources working in heritage conservation in the region.

The expected outputs of this activity of the programme include: three publications in Arabic; update of information in the database to include the whole Arab Region; and, a directory of conservation professional and institutions in the region.
