Under the patronage of H.H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the programme is developing a specialized course on 'Conservation of Stone and Earthen Structures: traditional bonding materials in masonry and conservation of damp buildings and sites'.

ATHAR programme course cycle
The ATHAR programme proposes a cycle of three course composed of the core regional course, followed by two specialized courses. Attendance on a core regional course is a prerequisite for participating on the specialized courses.

Endorsing institutions should note that applicants are expected to complete the full cycle of the three courses.
