By 2027, the cultural heritage of Latin America and the Caribbean will be the basis for celebrating the cultural and natural diversity of the region and for nourishing a spirit of integration. The heritage will be well conserved, strengthened and owned by the society as a source of creativity and identity, and shared by the region with the world.

Public policies will incorporate heritage as an axis for sustainable human development, favouring an integrated, systematic and transparent management, and using effective tools for governance. These public policies will articulate heritage as an integral part of all areas of society.

The region will demonstrate an excellence in integrated heritage education (scientific, technical, and academic ) sustained in different countries of the region through compatible educational programmes.
