Each of the five working groups are responsible for the coordination and implementation of activities. The aim is for these groups to expand and include more countries and institutions. The groups are open to all the persons interested in the region.

The LATAM programme is divided in three phases:

2008-2011: Initial phase

2012-2015: Implementation phase

2016-2019: Consolidation phase

The guiding principle of the programme is to establish a wide programmatic framework, containing all the individual activities of the working groups and ensuring that the total is wider than the sum of the parts.

LATAM’s success will require the support, through financial, human and technical resources, from all ICCROM Member States, and particularly those from Latin America and the Caribbean.
