Regional course
A three to four week course of inter-sectorial and interdisciplinary interest is being proposed. This course will aim at building competence in integrated approaches to heritage and its management and conservation. The contents of the course will build on existing experiences in the region and recent regional and international activities of ICCROM.
Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis, the regional course will focus on managing risks to cultural heritage. Since risk management encompasses all risks to cultural property, from rare catastrophes to slow continual hazards, and everything in between, the issues of illicit traffic, climate change and preventive conservation solutions to treat risks have been integrated under the broader theme.
