It is proposed that two on-going working groups will be created in the 2008-9 Biennium to develop concrete tools for systematic actions in key areas of concern.

Participants for these working groups will come from Latin America and beyond. Possible themes (as developed during the expert meeting) for these groups included:

• developing economic development indicators for conservation actions;
• translating and producing conservation related materials in Spanish;
• developing materials and tools for improvement of emergency preparedness;
• developing materials to improve preventive conservation practices.

From the results of the questionnaire analysis, the topics proposed for the 2008-9 biennium are: elaborating economic development indicators for conservation actions and translating and producing conservation related materials in Spanish.
