Flaminia BartoliniFlaminia Bartolini from Italy will come to ICCROM as a Research Fellow from 24 July to 1 September 2017.

Flaminia is currently a PhD student in Cultural Heritage at the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge.  She has worked as a curator at the Division of Archaeology of the Ministry of Culture of Italy (Soprintendenza Archeologica di Roma).

Prior to studying at Cambridge, she worked as a museum assistant in Cambridge’s Kettle’s Yard and had a curatorial role in the ‘At Home in Renaissance Italy’ exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. She also had a curatorial role as part of her year internship for English Heritage at Wrest Park working with its archaeological collection.

While at ICCROM, Flaminia’s research will focus on Rome’s divided memory: Nazi-Fascist heritage and post-war memory construction in Italy.
