World Heritage Capacity Building Newsletter No.4

The fourth issue of the World Heritage Capacity Building newsletter is now available for download in English, French and Spanish.

This newsletter is the result of a joint collaboration between the three Advisory Bodies to the World Heritage Convention – ICCROM, IUCN and ICOMOS – as part of the World Heritage Capacity Building Programme.

It highlights some of the activities of the programme of the past year and it also showcases a selection of activities of various UNESCO Category 2 Centres and other partners around the world: their capacity building activities, as well as community outreach initiatives.

CollAsia on the Move!

In 2003 ICCROM and SEAMEO-SPAFA launched the CollAsia 2010 programme to improve conservation conditions of Southeast Asian collections. From its inception until 2011, 355 heritage professionals were mobilized in the region through the programme, and over 145 institutions involved in one or more CollAsia activities through the participation of their professionals.
