Valentina holds a B.A. in architecture from the Polytechnic of Turin and is currently completing an M.A. in World Heritage Studies at the Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus-Senftenberg. Her recent studies have focused on heritage impact assessment, disaster risk reduction and heritage management among others. Her thesis is centred on the emergency response of local communities with a particular focus in the planning and management of the reconstruction.
Since 2015, Valentina has been an active member of the Young Committee of the Italian Commission for UNESCO where she has managed social media communications and acted as a regional focal point for the organization of activities for the International UNESCO celebration days.
While at ICCROM, Valentina will develop online tools for First Aid and update didactic materials for the next phase of activities.
