Giorgia Bonesso from Italy was at ICCROM as a Visiting Researcher until the end of October 2014. During her stay, her work focused on the development of a RE-ORG project in Veneto, Italy. Her research was carried out thanks to the support of the Istituto Veneto per i Beni Culturali, beneficiary of the Veneto Region Scolarship, co-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).
Giorgia was previously an intern at ICCROM in 2012, collaborating with the Collections Unit on the evaluation of the 2011 online course on Reducing Risks to Cultural Heritage. Additionally, she worked on a feasibility study of the risk management methodology and its application to the conservation of the Herculaneum archaeological site.
She has a Master of Arts in History and Preservation of Artistic Heritage at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, and experience in the Veneto region with museums to improve collections and carry out risk analysis projects.
