Stanford Libraries is looking for a full time Collection Care Lead to join the Preservation team. This position coordinates the workflow stream for bindery, repair, and housing of circulating collections, leading a team of two Bindery Specialists and one Collection Care Specialist. The incumbent manages all aspects of commercial bindery operations, including tracking shipments, expenditures, and statistics. The Collection Care Lead serves as the primary contact for bindery, repair, and housing operations, working with external vendors and across the library organization. The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively answer questions and resolve issues. Within the Preservation Department, the Collection Care Lead is an integral member of a dynamic team, working closely with colleagues in Collection Care and Conservation Services to assess and address preservation needs for Stanford Libraries collections.
