2nd round-call for Papers - Special issue of Cultural Heritage Conservation in Science China Journal

Books (and edited volumes)
A special issue of cultural heritage conservation (focused on cultural heritage science) is accepting submissions on Science China Technological Sciences Journal. We are soliciting contributions for such a special issue. We believe this will be a good opportunity for the community to create a special issue highlighting the field of cultural heritage conservation science. We believe this special issue could help you raise your academic influence in Chinese scientific conservation science community and find good cooperative partners not only in China but also all of the world.

Research/review articles covering either of the topics are welcome to submit to this special issue:

1. Deterioration mechanism of cultural heritage materials
2. Development of new materials for conservation purposes
3. Breakthroughs in novel analytical instruments and techniques in cultural heritage conservation
4. Cutting-edge research in archaeological sciences

For this special issue, we already have a few committed papers and we are targeting around 10 papers in total by a submission deadline of November 30, 2022. However, we have a "first come, first serve" rule. That means, if the maximum number of acceptance is reached, we won't be able to accept new articles so this may end earlier.

Guides for submission:

Manuscripts should be submitted online at mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/scts
1. In "Step 3:Attributes" on the submission system, in the "Speciality", please add "Cultural Heritage Conservation"
2. In "Step 6: Details & Comments", please indicate in the Cover Letter that the manuscript is submitted for the special issue of Cultural Heritage Conservation.

This can assure that the manuscript could be directed to the guest editors of the special issue for further processing. The articles will undergo a pre-screening by the SI guest editors and a rigorous peer review process. The accepted articles will be online first before they are included in the special issue, of which the scheduled in-print publication will be around June 2023.
