The South African Institute for Heritage Science and Conservation's Faculty of Physical Sciences, is presenting a Postgraduate Diploma programme in Technical Conservation Studies, commencing 20 January 2021.
Enrolment has opened for this accredited, nominally one-year, resident, contact learning, postgraduate diploma programme in Technical Conservation Studies. The 2021 academic year extends from 20 January 2021, through to graduation on 12 November 2021. This programme expressly values and confers an exceptionally high level of technical bench skills, providing students from various undergraduate fields of study with exemplary preparation for both commercial enterprise and/or employment in conservation.
Programme status & nomenclature: This is a 130-credit programme, formally the equivalent of a "graduate diploma", as awarded in theUK, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore, or a "higher diploma", as awarded in the Republic of Ireland. Accordingly, the programme follows subsequent to the candidate's bachelor's degree, and attainment shall permit enrolment in a master's programme.
Programme fee: USD 10,750 (or USD 12,350 inclusive of student housing). Part-bursaries in the value of USD 1,000 are available to all students residing on campus.
