The MOPGA 2025 Visiting Fellowship Program aims to support 60 early career researchers in advancing their climate change-related research in France. This prestigious program invites talented researchers from around the world to carry out 12-month research projects in France. The initiative is funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in partnership with the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research and is administered by Campus France. Research Themes
The fellowship welcomes proposals focused on:
- Earth systems
- Climate change and sustainability
- Energy transition
- Societal challenges related to environmental issues
- Human, animal, and ecosystem health within a “One Health” framework
Preference will be given to projects utilizing innovative technologies to address these global challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be foreign researchers holding a PhD (awarded between December 2019 and December 2024)
- Have not resided in France for more than 90 days between September 5, 2024, and December 5, 2024
- Not hold French citizenship.
