ICCROM welcomes Sonia Giovinazzi is carrying out a fellowship until 31 May 2018.
Sonia is currently an adjunct professor at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, Italy. She has a Ph.D. in Risk Management of Natural and Anthropogenic Hazards on the Built Environment from the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany), Civil Engineering Department and University of Florence (Italy). She has lectured and is now a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering, University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
While at ICCROM, Sonia’s research focused on “Disaster response management for cultural heritage constructions: investigating best practices and action frameworks.”
