Council

ICCROM Council is the governing body of ICCROM that meets once a year, to monitor the activities of the organization, and formulate long-term policies in close collaboration with the Director-General. The 92nd session of Council is in session for two days on 28-29 October 2019 at ICCROM.

The Council will examine items such as the execution of Programme of Work and Budget for the 2018-2019 biennium and financial reports. Discussions will also take place on various items regarding management, administrative and strategic issues of the organization.

ICCROM Council is composed of 25 persons serving for a mandate of four years, and six ex officio members representing UNESCO, the Italian Government, Instituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro, as well as the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
