The Getty Conservation Institute is happy to announce a new International Course on the Conservation of Modern Heritage as part of its Conserving Modern Architecture Initiative (CMAI).

This training initiative is intended for mid-career professionals, and it aims to advance the conservation of modern heritage and architecture by providing participants with both methodological and practical tools. Through lectures, discussions, exercises, laboratory sessions, demonstrations, site visits, and field exercises, participants will expand their knowledge of modern architecture and learn about advances in research and practice that have influenced approaches to its conservation. The course will also serve as a platform to share experiences, challenges, and thoughts among participants and instructors.
