Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, ICCROM’s Regional Office for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage in the Arab Region (ICCROM-Sharjah), in cooperation with the National Commissions for UNESCO in the Arab Region, is launching a regional competition on heritage and sustainable development for school students entitled: Our heritage brings us together. This competition aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving cultural heritage in the Arab region.
The award categories are:
- Drawing
- Folkloric dance
- Photography
- Awareness film
This competition targets school children aged 9 to 15 years.
Contributions may include drawings, photos and CD-ROMs containing drawings, videos of folkloric dances, and promotional films. The deadline for submissions is 30 January 2022.
Student can participate in the awards through one of the following channels:
- Personal participation by sending the required materials to the following address:
