It is a great pleasure to share with you the 1st Circular and Call for Abstracts for the 15th Conference of the International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics (ICCM), to be held in Athens, Greece, from October 20-24, 2025. 

Hosted by the Directorate of Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments (DCAMM), Hellenic Ministry of Culture, this event promises to be a gathering of professionals, scholars and students dedicated to the preservation of our mosaic heritage. 

The conference theme, "Conservation of Mosaics: current challenges and future prospects," reflects our commitment to addressing the critical issues facing the conservation community. We aim to explore strategies for effectively tackling these challenges and sharing best practices to safeguard our invaluable mosaic heritage. 

The conference venue, Technopolis City of Athens, a historical industrial monument, now repurposed into a vibrant cultural hub, embodies the spirit of Athens' rich history and cultural diversity of the city.

We are particularly interested to welcome young professionals and students to the conference, as their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas are essential in shaping the future of mosaic conservation. We encourage their active participation and networking opportunities to foster a collaborative environment aimed at ensuring the sustainability of our profession.
