On 5 June 2023, ICCROM welcomed Dr Peter Fornaro and Dr Vera Chiquet, experts in the fields of Digital Humanities and Digital Cultural Heritage from the University of Basel. During their visit, they were introduced to ICCROM's new initiative, Sustaining Digital Heritage, presented by Aparna Tandon, Senior Programme Leader of First Aid and Resilience for Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis and Sustaining Digital Heritage.
The following day, Dr Fornaro and Dr Chiquet returned to ICCROM accompanied by a group of PhD students and heritage practitioners from Swiss universities to explore our library and archives. These researchers are in Rome for the annual summer school organized by DH-CH initiative and hosted by the Swiss Institute in Rome (ISR).
