Xingyu has a doctorate in “History and Restoration in Architecture” from the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, Italy. Her thesis was on “the conservation of historical cities in China

Sonia is currently an adjunct professor at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome, Italy. She has a Ph.D. in Risk Management of Natural and Anthropogenic Hazards on the Built Environment from the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany)

Parisa Abdollahi, a lecturer at the Department of Conservation, Faculty of Art and Architecture, Tehran Azad University, was a Visiting Researcher with several study visits to ICCROM up until March 2018.

ICCROM was pleased to welcome Luis Pérez-Prat Durbán and María del Valle Gómez de Terreros Guardiola, from Spain. Both Visiting Researchers are full professors at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Seville.

Pingli Feng carried out a visiting fellowship at ICCROM until mid December 2016. She is a trained conservator who has been working since 2009 at the Conservation and Restoration Center of Cultural Heritage at Sichuan Museum in China.

Michael is a trained preservation architect and art historian (MSc, MA and PhD in Vienna and Berlin) and is currently project leader for cultural heritage studies at the Chair of Global Art History within the Cluster of Excellence ‘Asia and Europe in a Global Context.

Camille has a Master in preventive conservation from the Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris and a Master in restoration and conservation from the Ecole Supérieure d’Art d’Avignon.

Gerd holds a degree in financial economics from the Hanken School of Economics in Finland and is currently completing her Master degree in World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development, which has a focus on cultural economics, at the International Training Center of ILO in Turin, Italy.

Giorgia Bonesso from Italy was at ICCROM as a Visiting Researcher until the end of October 2014. During her stay, her work was focused on the development of a RE-ORG project in Veneto, Italy.

Nevra holds a Bachelor in Classical Archaeology from Istanbul University, a Master in Museum Studies from Yildiz Technical University and a PhD in Architectural History and Theory, also from Yildiz Technical University.
