On 22 June 2023, the Director-General of ICCROM, Webber Ndoro, had the honour of receiving Alessandro De Pedys, Director-General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) of Italy. Accompanying Director General De Pedys was Paolo Bartorelli, the Head of Office VI - Multilateral cultural cooperation, archaeological missions. Also present from ICCROM were Valerie Magar, Programmes Unit Manager, and Joseph King, Senior Director.
The meeting was an opportunity to provide information on ICCROM's work and explore further collaborations to promote culture and acknowledge its vital role in addressing contemporary challenges.
