ICCROM is proud to announce that Uzbekistan has joined as our 138th Member State. This milestone strengthens our commitment to heritage conservation and expands ICCROM’s global footprint and efforts to preserve and protect cultural heritage in all its forms worldwide for a lasting impact.

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, ICCROM Director-General Aruna Francesca Maria Gujral had the honor of visiting H.E. Tserendorj Narantungalag, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Italy.

On Friday, 28 June 2024, ICCROM Direrector-General Aruna Francesca Maria Gujral had the honour of welcoming H.E. Alexey Paramonov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Italy, to ICCROM headquarters.

استضافت العاصمة الهندية نيودلهي مؤخراً الدورة الـ 46 للجنة التراث العالمي، مما يمثل خطوة مهمة بما يتعلق بحفظ التراث. وفي هذه المناسبة، التقت المديرة العامة لإيكروم مع معالي وزير الثقافة والسياحة، شري غاجيندرا سينغ شيخاوات، حيث أكدا على التزامهما بحفظ وحماية التراث المشترك والحفاظ عليه.

في 9 تموز/ يوليو 2024، تم اتخاذ خطوة مهمة نحو تعزيز تمثيل التراث الإفريقي الغني على قائمة اليونسكو للتراث العالمي. حيث وقعت إيكروم مع مؤسسة مدرسة التراث والأنشطة الثقافية (Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali)، في المقر الرئيسي لإيكروم، مذكرة تفاهم للتعاون في مشروع "التراث العالمي في إفريقيا: تعزيز ممارسي التراث في عمليات الترشح واستراتيجياته (WHAPS)".

On 3 July, ICCROM Director-General had the honour of receiving the visit of H.E. Ambassador Santos Alvaro, the Ambassador of Mozambique to Italy to ICCROM’s Headquarters.

This gathering provided an opportunity to introduce Member State representatives to ICCROM's ongoing work, focusing on ICCROM's impact and stories of change from around the world. These efforts lay the groundwork for a brighter future for ICCROM and the heritage conservation sector as a whole, as we are preparing for our new Strategic Framework 2026-2031.
