أصدرت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة – يونسكو والهيئات الاستشارية لدى لجنة التراث العالمي دليل إرشادات جديد لتقييم الآثار الناجمة عن المشاريع، والتي يمكن أن تؤثر على الأماكن التراثية الأكثر قيمة على كوكب الأرض. حيث تم تصميمه خصيصاً ليخدم مؤسسات إدارة التراث، والحكومات وأصحاب المشاريع. يهدف الدليل إلى المساعدة في إيجاد أفضل الحلول الممكنة لتلبية أولويات الحفظ واحتياجات التنمية.
