In the fourth quarter of 2022, in addition to those interns and fellows who continued their work, we welcomed two new interns and one visiting researcher at ICCROM headquarters.
- Annelies Cosaert (Belgium) from the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) joined us as a Visiting Researcher with the Our Collections Matter (OCM) project. At the conclusion of her stay, she and Ms Estelle De Bruyn (KIK-IRPA, Belgium) presented the Climate2Preserv project and its relevance to ICCROM.
- Silvia Rey Méndez (Paraguay), a conservation architect from Paraguay, is undertaking a three-month internship with ICCROM. During her stay, Silvia is working on Disaster Risk Management in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Ana Cadena Irizar (Mexico) joined us as an intern with the Strategic Planning Unit. Ana is a heritage scientist and holds a Master’s in Archaeological Materials Sciences. She will be with us through February 2023.
