جائزة ايكروم – الشارقة لأفضل الممارسات 2018

أطلقت جائزة ايكروم – الشارقة لأفضل الممارسات في عام 2017 وأنهت أولى دوراتها في شهر فبراير 2018. وتقوم هذه الجائزة بتسليط الضوء على أفضل الممارسات المتعبة للمحافظة على التراث الثقافي وإدارته خاصة فيما يتعلق بالمهارات التقنية المستخدمة والآثار الاجتماعية والاقتصادية المترتبة من هذه المشاريع على المجتمعات المحلية. وقد تفاوتت المشاريع التي تم تقديمها للمسابقة والتي تناولت المباني الأثرية والمراكز التاريخية والمواقع الأثرية ومقتنيات المتاحف وقطع الآثار الرمزية المتحركة، فكانت معظم المشاريع تركز إما على التراث المبني التاريخي أو مراكز المدن أو المناطق الأثرية، كما ركزت بعض المشاريع على قضايا التوثيق، والواقع الافتراضي ومقتنيات المتاحف المعروضة والمؤرشفة.

وضمت هيئة التحكيم أساتذة جامعات ومعماريين وكتاب ومختصين في مجال التراث الثقافي، وترأس لجنة التحكيم المعماري الأردني الفلسطيني الدكتور راسم بدران، وضمت لجنة التحكيم الدكتور طارق والي ، الدكتورة سعاد العامري، الدكتورة سلمى سمر دملوجي، الدكتور مراد بوتفليقة والسيدة منال عطايا. وشاركت تسع دول عربية هي الأردن ولبنان وسوريا وفلسطين والمملكة العربية السعودية وسلطنة عمان والجزائر ومصر في هذه المسابقة.

وأعلنت لجنة تحكيم جائزة ايكروم – الشارقة في دورتها الأولى فوز المشروع الفلسطيني "إعادة إحياء المركز التاريخي لبيت ساحور" بالجائزة حيث نجح المشروع في تجسيد أهمية إعادة ترميم ممتازة لمبانيها التاريخية ومرافقها في المراكز الحضرية والذي كان له تأثير اجتماعي واقتصادي وثقافي إيجابي. 

ICCROM-Sharjah Award for Good Practices 2018

The ICCROM-Sharjah Award for good practices was concluded for the first time on February 2018. It highlighted the good practices in conservation and management of cultural heritage in terms of technical skills employed as well as social and economic impacts of the project on local communities. The projects submitted for the Award varied from built heritage buildings, historical centres, archaeological sites, museum collections and symbolic movable artefacts. The majority of the projects were either historic built heritage or city centres and archaeological sites. Some other projects were on documentation, virtual reality, and collections in museums and archives.

The Award jury included distinguished professors, architects, writers, and specialists in diverse fields of cultural heritage. Chairing the Jury was Palestinian-Jordanian architect Dr Rasem Badran, while other members of the jury included Dr Tarek Waly, Dr Suad Al Amiry, Dr Salma Samar Damluji, Dr Mourad Bouteflika and Ms Manal Ataya. And the projects were from nine Arab countries: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Algeria and Egypt.

Between the fourteen shortlisted projects, the jury members of ICCROM-Sharjah Award selected the project of the Revitalization of the Historic Centre of Beit-Sahour in Palestine as the winner of the first cycle of the Award, as it embodied the importance of the revitalization of the historical neighborhoods of the city of Beit Sahour through the quality of restoration of some of the historical buildings and facilities in this urban centre of the city core and its rehabilitation and sensitive adaptive use for social, economic and cultural benefits.
