What are the science training pathways for students entering the heritage conservation field today? When students engage in research how are the findings shared?

Explore the current education and training paths for science in heritage conservation, and trends in student intake and research dissemination.

This survey of conservation educators, undertaken by ICCROM in September 2013, was sent to over 120 conservation training programmes in 38 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Arab States and Asia & the Pacific. A total of 65 educators (with an average conservation teaching experience of 14 years) from 17 countries shared their experience regarding the current state of heritage conservation education. A synthesis of the survey results is provided below.
