Partners

RE-ORG was initially developed in 2011 by ICCROM with the support of UNESCO.

Since 2011, the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) partnered with ICCROM to ensure the development and the dissemination of the method. In particular, CCI developed an innovative approach for the national RE-ORG Canada strategy, using blended learning and partnering with museum associations and grant program. The experience of CCI has been instrumental to the revision and diversification of the RE-ORG resources and tools. 

Others RE-ORG main partners include:

• Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) – BELGIUM
  Beside implementing a national strategy, KIK-IRPA hosted and coorganized the "International RE-ORG seminar" which brought together over 200 professionals and contributed to the visibility of the storage issues.  
• The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) – INDIA
  By organizing a RE-ORG workshop every year since 2011 , IGNCA contribute to the dissemination of RE-ORG in India, and to the development of new didactic resources.
• Central Institute for Conservation in Belgrade (CIK) – SERBIA
  In association with ICOM-SEE, CIK organized the first Regional RE-ORG strategy. 
• Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) – SPAIN
  The first museum to support the RE-ORG international programme by committing 2 week of staff time per year to other RE-ORG activities in the world. 
• University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Italian Switzerland (SUPSI) – SWITZERLAND
  SUPSI integrated the RE-ORG method in their museum studies programme since 2015 and is working on the creation of a certificate of advanced studies on the topic.
• The Reinwardt Academy  – NETHERLANDS
  The second institution to support the RE-ORG international programme by committing 2 weeks of staff time per year to other RE-ORG activities in the world.
