On 7 September ICCROM hosted the meeting of the Evaluation Commission of the 8th edition of the FICLU Competition "Factory in the Landscape". This contest is open to public and private projects dealing with landscape and the environment, and promotes awareness on the importance of landscape in social well-being, national identity and sustainable development. Jury members include Prof. Arch. Giovanni Carbonara (La Sapienza, Rome), Arch. Carmen De Luca (ICOMOS, Naples), Prof. Marco Devecchi (Turin University), and Arch. Francesca Riccio (MiBACT, Rome). They were received by Dr Stefano De Caro, Director-General, and Maria Teresa Jaquinta, Liaison Officer, Italy.
