On 19 June, the Second Council Meeting of the Alliance for Cultural Heritage in Asia (ACHA) took place in Qingdao, China. The event gathered experts from across Asia and beyond to discuss and promote the preservation of cultural heritage.
This gathering provided an opportunity to introduce Member State representatives to ICCROM's ongoing work, focusing on ICCROM's impact and stories of change from around the world. These efforts lay the groundwork for a brighter future for ICCROM and the heritage conservation sector as a whole, as we are preparing for our new Strategic Framework 2026-2031.
The Kenya Heritage Hub was officially launched on 12 June in Nairobi, marking an occasion for cultural heritage and youth empowerment in Kenya. The event brought together an esteemed assembly of diplomats from various countries.
