The international seminar “Expresiones censuradas, memorias recuperadas" is an initiative developed within the framework of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état in Chile, and will be held jointly by the International Center for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) and the National Center for Conservation and Restoration of Chile (CNCR).

Seminario

The seminar is an invitation to share experiences and reflections on the heritage of human rights in urban space and public use in the Southern Cone, through the presentation of cases of censorship that have been or are being part of active processes of recovery.

The seminar will be held on 14-15 December 2023, in a hybrid modality that includes face-to-face sessions in Conference Room 2 of the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM), Alameda 227, Building B, floor 1, in Santiago, Chile, and live broadcasts through the YouTube Channel of the National Service of Cultural Heritage.

We invite you to ensure your participation in the seminar by registering in one of the two instances, which of course include delivery of a certificate of participation for the fourteen chronological hours that the activity lasts (two days):
