As part of the international project Undertaking Business in Culture, a collaboration between ICCROM and the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, applications are now open for suitable learning partners to join the Cultural Entrepreneurship Programme.
On 15 and 16 June, we welcomed Director General Kim Yeonsoo of the Republic of Korea’s National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage (NRICH) and a delegation of NRICH conservation scientists to ICCROM headquarters. The visit's purpose was to discuss areas to strengthen collaboration between ICCROM and NRICH and sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
On 15 June 2023, we signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Korea National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage (NRICH), led by Director General Kim Yeonsoo, under the aegis of the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA). This five-year agreement will allow us to expand our efforts with the Republic of Korea to conserve and manage cultural and natural heritage.
From 6 to 9 June 2023, at the invitation of the Government of Mozambique and its partners, ICCROM facilitated a workshop on disaster risk management organized by UNESCO on the Island of Mozambique, a World Heritage site.
From 3 to 5 June 2023, ICCROM’s FAR programme, supported by its alumni and long-standing partner, the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation (EHRF), co-led an emergency workshop and forum at the Child Museum in Cairo, Egypt, aimed at supporting Sudan in safeguarding its heritage sites.
