Facing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 the World Heritage Leadership Programme has concentrated heavily on knowledge production and active digital communication. In all aspects of the programme, we are working very closely with our partners and we convey our deepest thanks to the dedicated professionals and donors working with us.
From 26 to 27 November, the ICCROM Council will convene online for its 94th session, to monitor the progress of ICCROM’s programme of activities and plan for coming months. The two-day event is taking place in a year that also marks 60th anniversary of Italy's accession to ICCROM, formally established through the ratification of the Headquarters Agreement by Law 11 June 1960 No. 723.

How can Traditional Knowledge Systems be applied and adapted to contemporary conservation and management of heritage? This question was discussed during the 2015 ICCROM-CHA International Forum on Conservation.
