As the people and government of Haiti struggle to recover from the recent devastating earthquake and successive rains, the Director-General and staff of ICCROM extend our deepest condolences for the heavy loss of lives and the extensive damage caused as a result.
We express our solidarity with the Haitian Ministry of Culture, heritage institutions and professionals in Haiti. The memories of the 2010 earthquake and subsequent collective recovery efforts are still fresh in our minds. We stand ready to offer technical assistance and contribute to the early recovery of the affected communities.
